JESUS IS STILL LOOKING FOR LOST PEOPLE!

Faithfully Present

The Son of Man came to find lost people and save them. — Luke 19:10

Our God is the God who follows. Have you sensed him following you? He is the one who came to seek and save the lost. Have you sensed Him seeking you?

Have you felt His presence through the kindness of a stranger? Through the majesty of a sunset or the mystery of romance? Through the question of a child or the commitment of a spouse? Through a word well spoken or a touch well timed, have you sensed Him? …

God gives us Himself. Even when we choose our hovel over His house and our trash over His grace, still He follows.

Never forcing us. Never leaving us. Patiently persistent. Faithfully present. He uses all His power to convince us that He is who He is and He can be trusted to lead us home.

For God So Loved the World

John 3:16  "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

John3:17  God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.

John3:18  Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

John3:19  "This is the crisis we're in: God-light streamed into the world, but men and women everywhere ran for the darkness. They went for the darkness because they were not really interested in pleasing God.

John3:20  Everyone who makes a practice of doing evil, addicted to denial and illusion, hates God-light and won't come near it, fearing a painful exposure.

John 3:21  But anyone working and living in truth and reality welcomes God-light so the work can be seen for the God-work it is."

APART FROM JESUS WE CAN DO NOTHING!     BUT  WITH JESUS NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

Rom 3:10  As it is written, None is righteous, just and truthful and upright and conscientious, no, not one. [Psa 14:3

Psalms 14:3 They are all gone aside, they have all together become filthy; there is none that does good or right, no, not one. [Rom 3:11-12]

Romans 3:10

As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. The several passages cited here, and in some following verses, are taken out of the Psalms and Isaiah; and are brought to prove, not only that the Jews are no better than the Gentiles, being equally corrupt and depraved as they; but also to show the corrupt state and condition of mankind in general: and the words are not always literally expressed, but the sense is attended to, as in this passage; for in the original text of Psa 14:1, it is, "there is none that doth good"; from whence the apostle rightly infers, "there is none righteous"; for he that does not do good, is not righteous; and therefore if there is none on earth that does good and does not sin, there is none righteous upon earth, "no, not one" single person. The Jews allegorizing that passage in Gen 19:31, "there is not a man in the earth to come into us", remark (u) on it thus,

"Urab qydu vya Nya,

"there is not a righteous man in the earth"; and there is not a man that rules over his imagination.''

There is none righteous as Adam was, in a state of innocence; for all have sinned, and are filled with unrighteousness, and are enemies to righteousness; none are righteous by their obedience to the law of works; nor are there any righteous in the sight of God, upon the foot of their own righteousness, however they may appear in their own eyes, and in the sight of others; nor are any inherently righteous, for there is none without sin, sanctification is imperfect; nor is it, either in whole or in part, a saint's justifying righteousness; indeed there is none righteous, no, not one, but those who are justified by the righteousness of Christ imputed to them.

BUT THOSE WHO ARE JUSTIFIED BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST IMPUTED TO!
