ACCEPT CHRIST IN YOUR LIFE?

< div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> Power of God!

HOW TO ACCEPT CHRIST IN YOUR LIFE?

Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die?
God wants you to be sure.   The bible says,"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of Almighty God so that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13).

Suppose you were standing before God right now and He asked you, "Why should I let you into
heaven?"   What do you think you would say?  You may not know what to reply.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

God's Purpose Is That You Have Eternal Life:

You can receive eternal life as a free gift.   "The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord" (Romans 6:23b).

You can live a full and meaningful life right now.   Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10b).

You can spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven, for He promised, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am"(Jn14:3).

We need God's life in us now to live purposefully lives.  You see our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God's purpose for our lives.  Gods purpose is that we have meaning in life as we direct our lives and hearts towards Him. But unfortunately most people seldom find true meaning in life?

We are all sinners by nature and by choice.   "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"  [Romans3:23]
     We cannot save ourselves.
"Not by works, so no one can boast" [Eph 2:9]

     We deserve death and hell.
"For the wages of sin is death" [Rom 6:23a].

We can receive what we do not deserve.   God is holy and just and must punish sin, wet He loves us (whom He has created)

Think of Jesus Christ knocking now, asking to come into your life.
You want Him to come in, or perhaps you want to make sure He has come into your life.
It might help you to say this prayer, phrase by phrase, quietly, thoughtfully, thinking carefully about what you are saying, and what you are doing.

Lord Jesus Christ, I know I have sinned in my thoughts, words and actions
which have not pleased you but have offended you.
There are so many good things I have not done.
There are so many sinful things I have done.
I am sorry for my sins and turn from them and everything I know to be wrong.
You gave your life upon the cross for me.
Gratefully I give my life back to you, my creator God.
Now I ask you to come into my life anew.
Come in as my Saviour to cleanse me.
Come in as my Lord to control me.
And I will serve you all the remaining years of my life in complete obedience..............AMEN!
